Ryan started dancing as a Pre-teen and grew up competing at numerous regional and national competitions, winning Teen Mr. Dance of California for Dance Masters-Chapter 13. He is certified with Dance Masters of America in jazz, tap, ballet, and acrobatics.  His strong technical background in Jazz, Musical Theatre and Lyrical (with an emphasis on musicality) and 25+ years of dance enable him to incorporate emotion and character in his choreography.

He is a member of The Tap Dancing Christmas Trees and his other professional credits include Industrial shows for Yelp and Bank of America; Ryan is a graduate of the Drama Program at the University of California Berkeley and President of Dance Masters of California Chapter 13. He also holds a Master of Arts in Theater Arts, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and is a certified Shakespeare educator. When he is not teaching in a high school classroom, you can find him at the dance studio managing day-to-day operations, interacting with students, and building community.
